Terry DeWit of Deepfall on New EP, Revolution – It's All About Writing Music That Can Change Someone's Life in a Positive Way!...

Interview by Robert Cavuoto

Deepfall draws on dynamic musical perspectives to deliver a hard-hitting hybrid of rock, metal, and alternative. The Grand Rapids, MI band, unites five diverse musicians whose inspirations span an expansive spectrum. The quintet Terry DeWit [vocals], Tim Ossenfort [guitar], Jim Sully [drums], Taylor Brandt [bass], and Tim King [keyboards] have quietly made waves, attracting super producer Michael Elvis Baskette.

The band will unleash a five-song EP, Revolution, this Fall to the world! The band delivers five powerful songs with thunderous, galloping riffs and aggressive vocals. The band never takes their foot off the gas in songs like “Phantom.” “Into the Sun,” and “Revolution.” This incredibly diverse EP will appeal to Sevendust, Alter Bridge, and Tremonti fans. I had the pleasure of speaking with Terry DeWit about the band’s origins, the creation of Revolution while coming out of the pandemic, what Michael “Elvis” Baskette brought to the table, and what inspired him from watching Sevendust every night while out on tour with them this past Spring.
