After an exhilarating summer festival tour across the UK and Europe, THE ANSWER managed to carve out time for the creation of a fresh single. Their upcoming release, titled “Wild Heart,” was meticulously crafted during a recording session at the conclusion of their eventful summer. Guided by acclaimed producer Dan Weller, the band’s latest single is set to drop on November 17th, courtesy of Golden Robot Records. Alongside this release, the US will witness the first-ever vinyl launch of their acclaimed album Sundowners!
In the same vein as their previous singles “Blood Brother” and “Want You To Love Me,” this new track exudes a gritty, mesmerizing rock groove, radiating confidence and class. It showcases a band on an exciting new creative trajectory.
“We had an amazing time this summer playing at fantastic festivals, and at the end of August, we decided to dive back into the studio to capture the same vibe as our Sundowners session. It’s been liberating to charge headlong into the studio, knowing we have a wealth of material, and ‘Wild Heart’ is another gem from that session.
The set list for the upcoming tour will be quite different from the last, allowing us to delve into more of our catalog and perform tracks from the Sundowners album, which we haven’t played live yet – we can’t wait!” – Cormac Neeson, frontman.
Sundowners, THE ANSWER’s highly-anticipated album released on March 17th, 2023, via Golden Robot Records, swiftly climbed to top 40 chart positions in key European markets, including the UK, Germany, and Switzerland. It reached the pinnacle as the number one album on the UK’s national rock album chart. This outstanding chart success attests to Sundowners’ exceptional appeal and its resonance with audiences across borders. The catalyst for this creative success is undeniably the British producer, Dan Weller, who brought his ingenious touch and innovative approach to the album’s production and notably collaborated with THE ANSWER once again on “Wild Heart.”
