SOEN Releases Powerful Video for ‘Incendiary’ Amid European Tour Kickoff

Soen's Latest Single 'Incendiary': A Blazing Anthem of Resistance...

Following the start of the European tour, Soen have released the striking video for ‘Incendiary’, a driving and furious anthem with a message of hope to rise against the horrors of war and the tyrannous leaders behind them.

The latest single also comes with a stunning artwork created by Victor Portugal, a worldwide renowned tattoo artist and lifelong friend of Soen’s drummer and co-founding member Martin Lopez. The artwork is available as a limited-edition poster, which will come with a certificate of authenticity and is exclusively available at the Soen store: https://soen.tmstor.es/

Lopez comments, “Incendiary is a song about the true power of unification…even if there is a few in charge ‘we’, as the people, have the power to radically change things.”

It’s a heavy and melodic song that has both the more raw classic metal vibe as well as some proggy passages” adds singer and co-founder member Joel EkelöfI would say that it has a lot of emotion and anger but also beauty and serenity.”

The track is taken from the band’s highly praised recent album Memorial, which is arguably their best work to date and sees the band overall take a heavier approach to their craft whilst still maintaining the melodic grace the band are known for. Listen and purchase the album at this location.

Incendiary’ follows the release of the single ‘Hollowed’, which sees singer and founding member Joel Ekelöf joined on vocal duties by acclaimed singer Elisa, and is a hugely commanding ballad, which stands out as a powerful bridge across the album’s ten tracks. Memorial also features the biting track ‘Violence’, the ferocious war inspired title track ‘Memorial’ and the hard hitting ‘Unbreakable’.

Never ones to take the restrained path, Soen face down the ills and ways of current society with a crisp, wounded venom that betrays their pain, anger and frustrations. Each guitar carries a greater serrated edge, each melody a richer heart, each lyric a soul and spleen venting definitive proclamation. At the same time, Soen’s unique blend of progression, aggression, and beauty shows more maturity than ever before.

Soen are completed by, Lars Enok Åhlund (Keyboards and Guitar), Oleksii “Zlatoyar” Kobel (Bass) and Cody Ford (Lead Guitar). Following their hugely successful Memorial European tour in autumn last year and a string of incredible performances at last summer’s festivals, the band will soon be taking Memorial to the United States, Canada and Mexico. The tour will kick-off in May 2024 in Chicago, Illinois.
