British rock stalwarts THUNDER have dropped a newly remastered edition of their iconic 1998 live album LIVE, marking the first time the record has been available on digital platforms. The release captures the band during a pivotal career moment, showcasing their electrifying stage presence with enhanced sonic clarity courtesy of the 2025 remaster.

Accompanying the digital release, the band has unveiled a visualizer for fan-favorite track “The Only One,” offering a fresh visual dimension to the classic performance. Physical formats hit US stores April 17 via earMUSIC.

Raw Power, Remastered

Originally tracked in 1997, LIVE documents THUNDER firing on all cylinders—a perfect storm of towering riffs, blues-soaked grooves, and frontman Danny Bowes‘ unmistakable vocal power, complemented by Luke Morley‘s masterful guitar work and songwriting. The remaster amplifies the raw immediacy that made the original a fan essential while adding contemporary depth and punch.

These recordings also mark the arrival of bassist Chris Childs, who joined shortly before the performances were captured and has remained integral to the lineup ever since. The result crackles with spontaneous energy, extended solos, and genuine audience connection—this isn’t a polished studio recreation, but a band genuinely living in the moment.

22 Tracks of British Rock Thunder

The sprawling 22-track release delivers classics including “Love Walked In,” “Dirty Love,” “Backstreet Symphony,” and “Higher Ground,” among others. Bonus material features acoustic renditions and studio recordings that showcase the band’s range beyond their arena-rock firepower.

Formed in the late ’80s, THUNDER have built a fiercely loyal global following by melding classic rock tradition with arena-sized hooks and soulful authenticity. LIVE perfectly encapsulates that identity—powerful yet heartfelt, polished yet spontaneous.

LIVE is streaming now across all digital platforms, with physical formats (2CD, 3LP gatefold, limited 3CD, and limited 4LP editions) arriving stateside April 17.
