Heavy MTL is thrilled to announce our first venture into the United States – The Heavy MTL South of the Border Tour!

Stopping in 15 cities in 13 states across the country, this inaugural tour will showcase six acts at the forefront of their genre, and for nineteen days metal heads from Arizona to Massachusetts will be rocking out to an epic lineup featuring All Shall Perish, Oceano, Within the Ruins, Obey the Brave, Reflections and Betrayal.

A spin?off of Heavy MTL – the North American destination of choice for hard rock and heavy metal music lovers – the South of the Border tour has big shoes to fill. Since the first edition in 2008, Heavy MTL has welcomed over 150,000 fans and was able to bring heavyweights such as Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, Disturbed, Slipknot, Anthrax, System of a Down, Mastodon, Megadeth, Slayer and many more to Montreal. Heavy MTL 2013 will be held August 9th to 11th in Montreal, with the acts playing the South of the Border Tour rocking the stage on Saturday, August 10th.
