ANNOUNCE PART 2 OF THUNDERBOLT TOUR
New Album ‘THUNDERBOLT’ Reaches Top 30 in UK Official Charts!
Highest Chart position in 34 Years!
SAXON isn’t wasting any time in 2018. Following the critically acclaimed release of ‘Battering Ram’ in 2015, the heavy metal giants have released their 22nd studio album ‘Thunderbolt’ via the Militia Guard label (Silver Lining Music) which reached the Top 30 in the official UK charts this February, at No 29 it’s their highest chart position since 1984’s ‘Crusader’ album.
Now they have announced Part 2 of the Thunderbolt Tour, with Part 1 selling out, SAXON will bring their iconic live show to more cities across the UK. SAXON will be joined by special guests the legendary American rockers Y&T and Wayward Sons.

Since the 1970s Saxon have shown their ability to take rock ‘n’ roll and give it an electrifying edge which has since cemented their status as pioneers of the British heavy metal wave. With over twenty studio albums under their belt, SAXON has made their steadfast dedication to creating a dynamic body of a work a staple of their career.
The new album Thunderbolt features original Artwork by long time Saxon collaborator Paul Raymond Gregory.
