3 Doors Down put on one hell of a show along with their special guest Candlebox for the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour visit to The Corbin Arena. Fans at this packed arena got to enjoy more than three hours of pure post-grunge alt-rock music.

Candlebox opened the show with “Do You” a total high energy jam that was followed by “Change” (a killer tune) and then the slower progression rock classic “Blossom” that they fully mastered for the fans. Every song they played sounded exactly the way I remember them to be with all their spirit and fire too. I’d say, the crowded arena seemed to agree as they couldn’t get enough. Candlebox never sounded like an opening band as their set was a headliner performance quality for sure.

To follow the set Candlebox had just played might seem hard but from the minute 3 Doors Down hit the stage they claimed it with one great song after another. Lead vocal and founding member Brad Arnold was on fire as he crisscrossed the large stage throughout the entire set. His vocals were on target hitting every verse just right bringing out the unique sound that is 3 Doors Down.

As far as great lead riffs Chet Roberts was there to play. After ripping away on a song with Candlebox earlier during their set, Roberts tore it up every chance he had through the 18 songs the band played. This was an exceptional concert that people will remember and talk about for years to come.

3 doors down and the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour continues through September with a few other shows scheduled after that. For more information visit them at https://3doorsdown.com/

Candlebox will be opening for the Away From The Sun Anniversary Tour at several of their upcoming shows as well as celebrating their own 30th Anniversary “The Long Goodbye Tour 2023”. For more information https://www.candleboxrocks.com/
