Manchester’s hard rock/melodic metal outfit, Absolva, is set to unveil their album “Never A Good Day To Die” on an impressive 180g double vinyl LP, scheduled for official release on January 26, 2024.
Initially launched on CD and digital platforms in 2015, this album has become a standout in the band’s discography, boasting fan-favorite tracks such as the infectious title song with its captivating chorus and compelling rhythm, along with “No Tomorrow” and “All Alone.”
Frontman Christopher Appleton expresses, “In the present day, we compose our music with a focus on the vinyl format. However, back in 2015, this wasn’t as popular as it is now, and it wasn’t a feasible option for us. Times have changed, and we are systematically updating our catalog to align with the current trends. Witnessing the artwork come to life is as gratifying as the songs themselves. We insist on using the highest quality pressing and printing available, and we are thrilled with the results.”
Absolva remains dedicated to promoting their music through live performances and has an ambitious schedule for 2024, including 51 shows across Europe by the end of May. Noteworthy appearances include special guest slots alongside Ronnie Romero (Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Elegant Weapons, Lords of Black, and more) and collaborations with long-time partner Blaze Bayley (Iron Maiden, Wolfsbane).
