Describing the festivals as a contemporary homage to the legendary tailgate celebrations, Bret expresses excitement, ensuring an atmosphere filled with positive vibes. He emphasizes the Parti-Gras festivals as a music enthusiast, bringing together friends, bands, and chart-topping hits for an enjoyable experience. With a focus on celebration rather than ego, Bret looks forward to creating a night of fun and big hit music, inviting fans to join him on stage to sing. In light of challenging times, he aims to provide an entertaining and detailed audiovisual experience, featuring all-killer hits with no filler. Encouraging fans to let their Mardi Gras spirit shine with bandanas and beads, Bret adds a personal touch by infusing his own coconut rum into the hazers for a sensory-rich experience. As the son of a veteran, he remains dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude to those who have served the country, enabling the freedom to rock.
Parti-Gras 2024 is poised to become a memorable event, reminiscent of our unforgettable CMT Crossroads performance,” states Chris Janson. “I am thrilled to announce an upcoming summer tour where I’ll be teaming up with one of my idols and close friends, Bret Michaels. Anticipate an incredible time filled with unparalleled positivity, radiating nothing but Good Vibes! Woooo!”
During this tour, Bret Michaels will kick off the festivities with the iconic Poison track “Talk Dirty To Me.” Following that, he will be joined by recent Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame nominee Lou Gramm, the original voice of Foreigner, for renditions of three Foreigner classics. As Michaels continues his set, Dee Snider, the dynamic frontman of Twisted Sister, will take the stage, delivering energetic performances of “I Wanna Rock,” “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” and an electrifying rendition of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell,” along with Poison’s “Nothing But A Good Time.” Michaels will skillfully navigate the evening, seamlessly transitioning between hits from Poison, Foreigner, and Twisted Sister, featuring all three original vocalists.
