Celebrating two decades of BLOODBOUND, the Swedish power metal export has left an enduring mark on fans and the metal scene. With ten studio albums, major festival gigs, and tours, their impact is undeniable. Last year’s highlight at the Masters of Rock Festival is featured on their anniversary album, “The Tales of Nosferatu – Two Decades of Blood.”

Founded in 2004 by Fredrik Bergh and Tomas Olsson, BLOODBOUND’s sound, showcased in hits like “Nosferatu” and “The Warlock’s Trail,” has solidified their presence in the music world. Their talent and dedication to the metal scene shine through in every powerful track, from classics to new additions like “Drink with the Gods.”

Releasing the first studio album, “Nosferatu,” in 2005, they’ve since delivered consistently with albums like “Creatures of the Dark Realm” and “Rise of the Dragon Empire.” The band, featuring Patrik J. Selleby (vocals), Tomas Olsson (guitar), Henrik Olsson (guitar), Anders Broman (bass), Fredrik Bergh (keyboards), and Daniel Hansfeldt (drums), remains unstoppable.

Now, celebrating in 2024, they’ve marked the occasion with something special – a live album, “The Tales of Nosferatu – Two Decades of Blood.” Capturing the essence of their career, the Blu-Ray includes the Masters of Rock performance, Japan highlights, and all music videos. Adding a unique touch, a comic by Péter Sallai tells the story of their mascot, Nossen.

This release affirms BLOODBOUND’s enduring strength. The live energy remains undiminished, and their musical evolution continues. With a quote from a live favorite, “In the Name of Metal,” do you need more reasons to stick with this band?
