Can you tell us about the transition from being the frontman of Disciples of Babylon to your current solo venture? A: Well, after emotionally dealing with leaving the band, the transition to my solo venture came naturally. I had released solo records before forming the band, so being a solo artist wasn’t new to me. Forming the band was about wanting a band dynamic again.
How would you describe the evolution of your sound from your time with Disciples of Babylon to your new solo work? A: Working solo allows my direction solely. “Out of This World” was initially for the band, but I realized it marked a new solo direction, exploring a sound unique to me.
How would you describe your new single, “Out of This World”? A: It’s unique in every way, from the arrangement to the vibe. It’s captivating and has a cool energy that drew me in during the demo.
