Dayseeker Returns With Melancholic New Single “Pale Moonlight”

Southern California Post-Hardcore Titans Drop First New Music of 2025...

Southern California’s post-hardcore powerhouse DAYSEEKER has broken their silence with their first release of the year, unveiling the hauntingly beautiful new single “Pale Moonlight” alongside a mesmerizing music video directed by industry veteran Jensen Noen (Black Veil Brides, Bring Me the Horizon, Falling In Reverse).

The track represents a significant evolution in the band’s signature sound, produced by Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Silent Planet) and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Lorna Shore). Vocalist Rory Rodriguez describes the song as “about giving in to your vices” and “the addiction to things that you know are toxic for you — but you simply can’t stop yourself.”

“Pale Moonlight” showcases all the elements that have made DAYSEEKER a scene standout – contemplative lyrics, elevated melodics, and unforgettable hooks – while introducing ferocious breakdowns that demonstrate the band’s impressive dynamic range. The accompanying video takes viewers through dark club scenes and shadowy environments that perfectly complement the track’s emotional intensity.

This release follows the monumental success of their 2022 album Dark Sun, which helped propel the band to over 600 million cumulative global streams. After completing a sold-out global headline tour of theater venues and supporting acts like Pierce the Veil and Bad Omens, fans can expect a full-length album later this year.

DAYSEEKER features Rory Rodriguez (vocals), Gino Sgambelluri (guitar), Ramone Valerio (bass), and Zac Mayfield (drums).
