Lock up your daughters’ – lock up your wife – lock up your pets because GWAR are back and they’re looking for Gor-Gor, a three-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex which was the pet of former singer Oderus Urungus. The pet was a little dino when Oderus was sadly taken from us, but he is all grown up and is now by all accounts a 20-foot trans-species prostitute working in a pickle park somewhere, and it’s GWAR‘s job to find him. But will he come quietly and join the Scumdogs, or will he do battle against them? You can find out with both this EP and the accompanying 32-page comic book which also comes in a deluxe hardback edition.

A circus hawker introduces ‘The Great Circus Train Disaster’ and off they go on a punk/metal hybrid that rattles along. You can say what you like about the whole set up, but fuck these guys can play and they really put out the energy. It’s heavy, fast and uncompromising. Things get thrashier on ‘Lot Lizard’ which is bound to get a vicious pit going. It doesn’t let up on ‘Tyrant King’ either as it goes hell for leather. Fuck this is good!

We get four numbers recorded in Atlanta, Georgia during their 2024 tour – ‘Crack The Egg’, ‘The Founding Fathers’, ‘America Must Be Destroyed’ and ‘Fishfuck’ – and they give a good indication of what to expect from them live.

The three new songs are all belters and show what these guys can do. It’s an interesting release alongside the comic and will hopefully draw a few more people to follow these Scumdogs of the Universe.
