For metal fans, the wait is finally over! Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest fame will unleash Elegant Weapons’ debut album, Horns for a Halo, on May 26th via Nuclear Blast Records.

Elegant Weapons features multiple high-profile musicians, including Pantera’s Rex Brown [bass], Judas Priest’s Scott Travis [drums], Rainbow/Michael Schenker Ronnie Romero [vocal], Uriah Heep’s Dave Rimmer [bass], and Accept’s Christopher Williams [drums]. Fellow Judas Priest bandmate Andy Sneap produced the album.

Richie and his bandmates deliver Rock n Roll with a hard-edge punch and promises the same for every song on Horns for a Halo. The first three singles are fiercely powerful, and Richie cranks up the energy level to take listeners on a journey, expressing himself and bending sound as well as listeners’ minds. Songs like “Do or Die,” “Blind Leading the Blind,” and the title track “Horns for a Halo” are fast, furious, and dripping with attitude that showcases the band’s aggressive and diverse playing styles. Once the album is released, the band plans on hitting the road in 2023.

The over-arching mandate of Elegant Weapons is to perpetuate the rich legacy of traditional hard rock and heavy metal invented by Richie’s musical heroes Thin Lizzy, Jimi Hendrix, UFO, Metallica, as well as Judas Priest.
