Sinnery from Israel return with a blistering EP of four tracks that, if left unattended, could destroy your house.

Opener ‘Somber’ gets straight to it. It’s loud, it’s fast and it’s brutal so hold on to your hats. Equal parts thrash and death metal it rattles along on some razor sharp riffage and a pounding rhythm before ‘An Ode (Knife Of Erato)’ continues the brutality with singer/guitarist Alon Karnieli going from black/thrash rasp to guttural death growl. ‘We Just Want You To’ is pretty pointless but order is restored on the battering ram of ‘Share This’. Fair play to drummer Liam Fine whose performance on this is phenomenal. Closing cut ‘Serene’ is anything but! It’s a nasty tech metal pounder that is quite disturbing.

After their 2022 album ‘Black Bile’ this is a welcome return and is showing that Sinnery have got the talent to become bigger. Let’s hope for another full album soon. If it’s anything like this it will be special.
