When it comes to tours that sort of just nail its fanbase right on the head, there are few that manage to do so as accurately as the previously reported Sessanta run, featuring Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, and Primus.
With all three bands being their own oddball self, the tour features a special show where all three bands will be on stage at the same time for parts of their sets. If that doesn’t sound absolutely wild, I don’t know what does. Apparently, this new run of dates is set up specifically to celebrate vocalist Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday.
Speaking of the upcoming tour, which is set to kick off on April 7 in Raleigh, North Carolina and comes to an end at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, Keenan said the decision to add more shows came about as a result of fan outcry.
“Although I am slowly going deaf with all the rock song touring, and the aging and what not, the thunderous cacophony of whining and crying from the places we aren’t playing Sessanta was heard loud and clear. But instead of being a grumpy old fart and calling you all a Waahhhmnulance, we decided to book a few more shows. Thank you @poopoopeepee69, @blunthole420 and many others for changing our minds. U.S. only though. I gotta be in bed by 7:30.”

With the addition of five new shows, the full tour is now comprised of 14 dates across the southern and western U.S. Tickets for the new shows will be on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. You can find the full list of dates below.
