The Italian-Swedish hard rock collective Hell In The Club faces their most significant transformation with their seventh studio offering. Following founding vocalist Dave Moras’s exit, the band welcomed Swedish powerhouse Tezzi Persson (Infinite & Divine, Venus 5) into the fold—a bold move that completely reshapes their sonic identity.

From the first moments, it’s clear this lineup change has injected fresh vitality into the band’s DNA. Tezzi’s commanding vocal presence cuts through the mix with a penetrating quality that elevates every composition she touches. Her range proves devastating throughout, seamlessly transitioning from soaring melodic passages to grittier, more aggressive deliveries that suit the band’s raw aesthetic perfectly.

The production courtesy of Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio deserves special mention. The guitar tones achieve that sweet spot—thick and distorted yet maintaining crystal clarity. Whether dealing with crushing riffs or more nuanced harmonic work, the sonic palette feels both modern and respectfully nodding to classic ’80s hard rock traditions. The rhythm section thunders with precision, creating a foundation that’s simultaneously powerful and groove-oriented.

What makes this album succeed is its dynamic diversity. Some tracks lean into straight-ahead hard rock fury with no-nonsense power chord assaults and driving rhythms. Others explore more melodic territory with intricate harmonies and hook-laden choruses that embed themselves in your memory. The balance between accessibility and raw aggression never feels forced—it’s a natural ebb and flow that keeps the listening experience engaging across all ten tracks.

The album’s emotional centerpiece arrives with its power ballad, showcasing the band’s ability to pull back the intensity without sacrificing impact. Here, delicate instrumental passages interweave with Tezzi’s emotive delivery, proving that Hell In The Club can deliver tenderness alongside their trademark ferocity. Golden melodies cascade over restrained yet effective guitar work, demonstrating compositional maturity.

Several tracks channel distinctly different influences—some evoke the swagger of American highway rock with its leather-and-gasoline attitude, while others recall European melodic metal traditions with epic arrangements and soaring vocal lines. This variety prevents monotony while maintaining cohesive identity throughout.

The guitar work deserves recognition for its combination of technical proficiency and song-serving restraint. Solos arrive at perfect moments, neither overstaying their welcome nor feeling abbreviated. The riff construction throughout shows careful craftsmanship—memorable without being simplistic, heavy without sacrificing groove.

Hell In The Club hasn’t reinvented themselves so much as revitalized their core sound. This is a band embracing change while honoring their established identity, creating a bridge between their storied past and an exciting new chapter. “Joker In The Pack” stands as confident proof that sometimes the boldest creative risks yield the most rewarding results.
